ABOUT
With a background in theology and science, Hannah seeks to deliver unique images and stories which transform how people see, interact, and care for the natural world.
After 16 years working in Parish Ministry, Hannah left the church to find a way to serve God that spoke to the needs and concerns of Creation. Her passion for science lead her to pursue post-graduate work in aquatic plants and open a consulting firm focused on freshwater system restoration in 2021. However, this work soon became more about serving clients in private settings rather than teaching about interconnected nature of good science and a spiritual imperative to care for the natural world. Hannah sold her consulting firm in 2026 and began to hone a more balanced way to answer this call.
As a writer, speaker, and photographer, Hannah now seeks to use her dynamic education, faith, and photography to open dialogue spaces with others about the sacred role which humans were created for as both part of Creation and stewards of ecosystem.
Hannah lives and works 7 months of the year in Vermont, where she did most of her growing up. The other 3 months of the year, she lives and volunteers on the island nation of Bonaire, N.A. in the south of the Caribbean Sea. There, she can usually be found behind a camera lens, leading a small group of post-church Jesus followers, or underwater, reconnecting with the Creator in the womb of the ocean.
